Pediatric Endocrinologist Opportunity

Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel – Portland, Oregon

The Randall Children’s Diabetes and Endocrine Center is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our dynamic team of six pediatric endocrinologists. We provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care to children with endocrine disorders throughout the greater Portland, Oregon area.

Our program is recognized by the American Diabetes Association as a Center for Diabetes Education and by the NCQA as a Patient-Centered Specialty Practice (Medical Home Neighbor). We are committed to delivering exceptional care through a collaborative, family-centered approach.

Our Team and Services

- Five dedicated Certified Diabetes Educators offering weekday and weekend coverage
- A full-time social worker and two behavioral health providers
- A shared psychologist to support families managing chronic conditions
- Two endocrine nurses providing clinical support and patient education
- Opportunities for involvement in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives

Position Highlights

- Primarily outpatient clinical care with inpatient consultation responsibilities
- Shared call rotation (1 in 6)
- Teaching opportunities with rotating medical students, PA students, and pediatric residents
- Participation in clinical research projects aligned with patient needs

Qualifications

- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency and pediatric endocrinology fellowship
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology
- Eligible for an unrestricted Oregon medical license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
