Associate Professor, CE Track, Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board Certified in Pediatric Endocrinology is required.

 

Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of CHOP residents and fellows as well as medical students from the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania.

 

Clinical responsibilities may include providing outpatient and inpatient consultative services.

 

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include clinical and translational research in areas such as type 2 diabetes, obesity and metabolic syndrome, type 1 diabetes, cystic fibrosis-related diabetes, neuroendocrine disorders and other endocrine diseases. Applicants should have a track record of publications and established scholarship in the field.
